“Where are we now?” LR Dorsett

“You started with ER Dorsett started selling cars in, I think you gave, 1958. And..?” D.Higgins

“And…Working with my father for 14 years, he retired, and I took the business over in 1972. And from 1972, having operated as a new car dealership, not having a franchise. We had our own service department, own clean-up department, giving the customers of Terre Haute and the surrounding areas quality used cars.

And in 1995, Brian Dorsettretiring from baseball, came into the business. And after a year and a half decided that we needed a new car dealership. Brian seeked out, eh, Mitsubishi seeked out Dorsett Auto Sale as their franchise dealership in Terre Haute, Indiana in 2002. Since doing business with Mitsubishi for 10/11 years the opportunity to, uhh, purchase Nissan and Hyundai came about. Nissan and Hyundai came aboard in 2011 and… the rest will be history.” LR Dorsett

“You said one was remodeled, the original?” D. Higgins

“Yeah, we remodeled. And expanded the lot. I would say that was in, mmm, ‘75,” LR Dorsett

“Kay, and so you took..” D. Higgins

(interrupts) “And I’ve always been looked at in Terre Haute as a quality place to buy used cars.” LR

“So, 1958 ER Dorsett started it and, 1972 you took it over,” D. Higgins

“Mm,” LR

“And in ‘75 it was remodeled,” D.Higgins

“Mhm,”

“And you said it was a used car only, correct?”

“Mhm,”

“Kay, and you had your detail bay, service shop,”

“Mhm,”

“And that w- what was the address? It was 146..

(interrupts) “1467 Lafayette Avenue.”

“Kay, in 1995 Brian Dorsettretired from baseball and that is when he came in a worked under you for a while,”

“Mhm,”

“And then from there Brian decided, err, had a dream of news car, err, new car dealership,”

“Mhm, new car franchise,”

“Franchise. And then, you said Mitsubushi sought you guys out?”

“Mhm”

“And then that is when you built over here,”

“Mhm”

“Kay, I think that is enough info to take…”
